1. WHAT IS THE WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM?<

    Weatherization helps low-income individuals and families reduce energy costs and increase comfort and safety in their homes.

2. WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

    People whose income does not exceed the gross monthly income listed below are eligible for Weatherization.

To qualify, your adjusted monthly income for the previous calendar month must fall within these guidelines:

  1. There is a 20% disregard that is subtracted from your gross earned income.
  2. Verifiable medical expenses may be deducted from your gross income, including insurance premiums, prescription costs, dental work and physician visits.
  3. If your home has been weatherized after 1993, you may not be eligible for Weatherization Services.

3. HOW DO I APPLY?

    Complete an application from the link below, provide the necessary documentation the application requests and mail to the     agency listed under Contact Us that serves the area you live in. Your application will then be prioritized, based on the information     provided, and put on a waiting list.

4. I AM A RENTER; DO I STILL QUALIFY FOR WEATHERIZATION?

    Yes, but your landlord must complete the rental agreement found in the link below. This agreement must be notarized before     submitting.

5. IS THERE A COST TO ME TO WEATHERIZE MY HOME?

     If you are a homeowner, there is no cost to you. If you rent, your landlord may need to pay an elected portion of the cost
